This course is a combination of three courses:

  • Core Knowledge is the entry module of all HETAS courses, it is also suitable for anyone interested in solid fuel, wood & biomass technology. If you have no previous experience in the solid fuel sector this is a good place to start.
  • Chimneys and Flues course is a fundamental module to progress to other modules to gain entry to the Competent Person Scheme (CPS).
  • Dry Appliance Installer course teaches the fundamental skills and knowledge to undertake the installation of solid fuel and biomass dry appliances to gain entry to the Competent Persons Scheme.
